Proceed as follows after having assembled the appliance:
• Insert the plug (12) in the socket.
• Turn on the appliance by setting the speed control (13) to position 1 or 2.
• Introduce the fruit or vegetable in the opening of the lid (2).
•
Press the fruit or vegetable with the presser (1) [Fig. H].
•
After making the juice, turn off the appliance by setting the speed control (13) to 0.
• Disconnect the plug (12) from the socket.
•
Wait for the stainless steel filter (4) to stop moving completely before opening the
protective handle (7).
•
Pour the juice into a glass.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
After using the appliance, clean it immediately to prevent the food from clogging the
stainless steel filter (4) when it dries.
• Disconnect the plug (12) from the socket.
•
Wait for the stainless steel filter (4) to stop moving completely before opening the
protective handle (7).
• Wash the removable components: the presser (1), the lid (3), the juice conveyor (5),
the juice jug (8), the froth separator (9) and the waste container (14) by hand or in the
dishwasher.
•
In the dishwasher, make sure the maximum temperature of the water does not exceed
60 °C.
•
Wash the stainless steel filter (4) only by hand under running water with a dish brush.
•
Clean the motor unit (10) with a damp, well-wrung sponge.
•
Dry with a dry cloth.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Should one of the problems indicated occur, adopt the proposed solution:

The appliance does not work.
Make sure the protective handle (7) has
been inserted correctly [Fig. F].
The juice does not come out properly.
Make sure the stainless steel filter (4) is
not clogged. If so, clean it.
The stainless steel filter (4) is difficult to clean.
Leave it to soak in hot water with
washing-up liquid for 10 minutes before
cleaning it.
There are stains on the juice conveyor (5), lid
(3) and presser (1).
Potential stains are due to carotenoids
or other colourants in fruit and vegetable
and are not a manufacturing defect.
