treatments and support
overall skin health, you should maintain a
regular skin care treatment program that
includes active topicals and a good SPF
product. The full line of iluminage skincare
products is specially designed to be the
foundation of your skin maintenance program,
complementing the effects of your SKIN
SMOOTHING LASER
™ treatments.
Minor redness. After your first SKIN
SMOOTHING LASER ™ treatment, you may
or may not experience a small amount of
redness. This is temporary. Some people may
experience redness for a prolonged period of
time. If you don’t see any redness, it is still fine.
Your skin just reacts di
ff erently.
It is a good idea to perform your SKIN
SMOOTHING LASER
™ treatments in the
evening, in the event you have some redness.
If you do experience redness and don’t have
time to allow it to dissipate, you may cover it
up with makeup.
Firm sensation in the skin. Some people feel a
very slight tightness in the skin. This is a good
sign, indicative that your skin is reacting to the
laser light.
But again, if you do not notice anything, do not
be concerned, everyone’s skin reacts di
ff erently.
Over time, you will become accustomed to the
sensation and may not notice it at all.
