1-5. Caution for IPD-BX200HD
1-5-1. Caution at network connection
IPD-BX200HD is to be used on a network. To protect your system from damage
specific to network connection, please ensure sufficient security measures are
adopted at your responsibility.
Damages specific to network connection include the leakage of information
acquired by the IPD-BX200HD, disruption and system halt due to unauthorised
access.
The following measures are specified but please also conduct other sufficient
measures at your responsibility:
• Do not install in places where the cable can be easily replaced.
• Ensure network security (a firewall and so on).
• Conduct regular virus checks on connecting computers.
• Limit users of connecting computers (password protection).
• Control to avoid leakage of credentials.

The use of IPD-BX200HD is regulated by “VC-1 and AVC/H.264 Patent Portfolio
Licence concerning personal and non-commercial use” In accordance with this,
please use IPD-BX200HD for personal or non-commercial use only. For details,

Reference: Allowable actions in VC-1 and AVC/H. 264 images concerning
personal and non-commercial use.
(1) Encode images in VC-1 and AVC/H.264 for personal or non-
commercial use only.
(2) Use VC-1 and AVC/H.264 images encoded for personal or non-
commercial use only or acquired from approved providers, for
decoding.
