[HDTV BARS TYPE]
Selects the type of HDTV color bar.
You can select the standard bar (conventional type) or a multiformat color bar conforming to the ARIB standard (ARIB bar).
• STD
:
Standard bar (conventional type)
• A 75
:
ARIB bar (pattern 2: 75% white)
• A100
:
ARIB bar (pattern 2: 100% white)
• A +I
:
ARIB bar (pattern 2: +I signal)
For details of multiformat color bars, refer to the related standard (ARIB STD-B28).
[MOTION DETECT]
Sets motion detection for the down converter.
• MUSIC
:
Normally select this setting, Average degree of motion detection.
• DRAMA
:
Suitable for drama and other videos for which still editing is required using a VTR. Frame processing is
performed, so there are some afterimages.
• STILL
:
Suitable for shooting pictures and other still images.
• OFF
:
Suitable for shooting videos using a helicopter camera. Field processing is performed. There is neither
afterimage nor motion detector's error.
• SPORTS
:
Suitable for shooting sports videos for which subjects move quickly.
(3) BARS TITLE function
Select and confirm "BARS TITLE" on the BS-79 main menu screen.
On the BARS TITLE ENTRY screen, selecting and confirming "QUIT" displays the previous screen again. Press the QUIT switch
on the LCD touch sensor panel to exit from the menu.

Select and confirm "DISPLAY."

Turn the CONTROL/SELECT knob on the RCP-50 panel and select "ON" (display) or "OFF" (not display).
3.
Press the ENTER switch on the LCD touch sensor panel to confirm the selection.
