
Calibrating the input device
Before you can take-off for the first time, you
will have to calibrate your input device and
assign the channels to the different controls of
your aircraft. Make sure the interface cable is
properly connected to a serial port of your PC
and the trainer jack of your transmitter. When
you move the sticks of your input device, you
should see a movement of the red bars. Press
Calibrate
in the input device selection menu
and follow the instructions on the screen.
When finished, all bars should be at the center
mark when the sticks of your input device are
centered.
Channel assign
Move each stick and check the corresponding
bar movement, select the function you want to
control with this stick by activating the radio
button in the same row. If you have to invert a
channel, you can return later to this dialog and
simply check the corresponding checkbox.
Press
Ok
to save these settings and to return
to the main screen.
Example: Assigning pitch/throttle
1.) Move desired stick up and down.
2.) Look for moving bar.
3.) Assign control to this bar. Invert if desired.
