Cut away from both body sides, the main rotor mast
and tail rotor assembly holes.
Put the main frame in the left body site (Do not glue!)
Warning, do not turn this frame . The printed “L” must
be on the Left side, viewed in flight direction. The left
side frame is also marked with a printed “L”.
Glue the main frame with UHU-Por in the left body site,
perfectly aligned with the cut and the left side frame. If
needed, use sandpaper to adjust the body main frame.
Pay attention to the perfect 90° alignment on the long
axis of the complete body.
Now you can glue the main frame and directly remove
the side frame. Tip: Do not let the glue dry for too long,
this way, the parts position can be changed before the
glue sets.
Cut the plastic triangle. Adjust the half-round hole to fit
around the tail boom.
Do this carefully, a perfect fit will avoid a loose body put the
triangle on the tail boom and the triangle should sit on the
landings gear back legs. Then put the mechanics and
triangle on the main frame.
Align the mechanics this way that the rotor mast at the body-
top hole, crosses on the centre line.
This will give the
angle (see photo). Mark the position of the triangle with a
soft pencil.
Take out the mechanics and glue the triangle with UHU-Por
on the main frame.
Now its time to install the cable for the tail motor. Use the
sharp knife to make an shallow cut in the left body tail side,
and push the cable in it. Make sure not to cut through the
foam. Guide it in the middle at the far end of the tail. Put it
through the small left hole in the main frame. The tail skid
must be glued now with UHU-Por. Re-check the fit for the two
body halves, especially at the main frame. Glue with UHU-Por
together.
Cut with the sharp knife along the line to separate the
canopy and the body. Make sure to make a straight, clean
cut, to avoid corrections afterwards. A small deviation is of
no importance, since the two same halves mate together on
assembly.
