• Read the operating instructions completely before
starting up and follow the safety instructions.
• Keep the operating instructions in a place where it can
be accessed by everyone.
• Ensure that only trained staff work with the device.
• Follow the safety instructions, guidelines, occupation-
al health, safety and accident prevention regulations.
• Install the stand on a flat, stable, clean, non-slip, dry
and fire-resistant surface.
NOTICE
The adjustment screw (3)
can be used to compensate
for unevenness on the set-
up plate. Use the lock nut
to lock the adjustment
screw.
• Prior to each use, always check the stand, stirrer/dis-
perser and accessories for damage. Never use dam-
aged parts.
DANGER
Check the mounting posi-
tion of the stirrer/disperser
to avoid the danger of the
unit tipping over.
DANGER
Observe the maximum per-
missible load-bearing capac-
ity (see “Technical data”).
• You must also follow the safety instructions contained
in the operating instructions for the stirrer or disperser.
• Check that the stirrer/disperser is installed correctly
before use and at regular intervals.
• Because the options for combining products, tools,
stirring vessel, trial set-up and medium are nearly end-
less, user safety cannot be ensured simply with design
requirements on the part of the product. For this rea-

son, it may become necessary for users to take other
precautionary safety measures. For example, glass
apparatus or other stirring vessels that are sensitive
to mechanical stress can be damaged or shattered by
an imbalance, increasing the speed too quickly or too
little distance between the stirring tool and the stir-
ring vessel. Users can sustain serious injury from glass
breakage or from the freely-rotating stirrer tool.
