- Unpack the device carefully
- Any damage should be notified immediately to the
shipping agent (post office, railway network or trans-
port company)
The LR-2.ST laboratory reactor system is supplied as a
fully functional unit in various configurations depending
on customer requirements. Accessories, such as ULTRA-
TURRAX, temperature gauges and reactor vessels are
supplied separately.

measuring, controlling, regulating and fully documenting
all laboratory processes.
Sample applications:
• Manufacture of cremes, lotions, emulsions and liposo-
me preparations in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic
sector (lipstick, sun cream, eyeliner).

NOTICE
The stand system holds the
drive unit complete with the
reactor cover and the stirring
instrument, the reactor vessel
and the safety disconnector.
An adjustment screw on the rear, right-hand side foot of
the stand can be used to level the stand and compensate
for any unevenness in the mounting surface.
Undo the lock nut. Turn the knurled screw clockwise to
slightly raise the foot of the appliance, turn it anticlockwise
to lower it. When the appliance is level, tighten the lock
nut.

Assembling
If you are working with the LR 2.1 single-walled reactor
vessel and the HBR 4 digital heating bath, you must remo-
ve the baseplate including clamping bracket and one side
support from the stand.
Undo the top two M8 cheese-head screws using the DIN
911-6 cranked wrench key provided. Remove the basepla-
te, undo the bottom cheese-head screws and remove the
side support.
The remaining side support is used to fit the safety dis-
connector. Place the plastic cover onto the aluminium
profile.
