Connecting to an external device

(Serial communication)

Connecting a printer

The measurement data can be printed out by connecting a printer (optional, sold

separately). A printer cable is required to connect the printer. (RS-232C serial cross cable

25-pin male to 9-pin female)

Refer to page 15 and set the output setting destination to “PRINTER”.

Connect the PACK LEADER and printer.

Press

on the Measurement Complete screen.

The measured values will be saved in the memory and simultaneously printed out one item.

Connecting to a personal computer

The measurement data can be read and the devices can be

controlled by connecting to a personal computer (prepared by

the user). A serial cross cable (RS-232C) is required, and the

personal computer must have a serial terminal (RS-232C). If the

personal computer does not have a serial terminal, prepare a

USB to RS-232C converter.

Refer to page 15 and set the output setting destination to “PC”.

Connect the PACK LEADER and personal computer.

Refer to the following table and set the communication settings.
