Playing your iPad, iPhone or iPod

This unit has 3 play modes, each indicated by a different color on the     

Button

:

30-pin dock mode = Blue LED, USB mode = Green LED, Aux-in = Red LED. You can press and 

release the     

Button

 as needed to cycle among the play modes.

1.  Make sure the unit has a power source 

(4 AA batteries are installed or AC adaptor is connected).

2.  Slide open the cover to expose the flexible 30-pin connector. The USB port is located on the front 

of the unit. To access USB port, gently pull the rubber USB cover away from the port.

3.  When operating on AC power, gently dock a playing iPad, iPhone or iPod to the flexible 30-pin 

dock OR connect a playing device to the USB port using the cable that came with the device. 

The unit will power on (Blue LED for 30-pin dock, Green LED for USB port) and in a moment you 

will hear the audio from your device. If needed, press and release the     

Button

 to switch modes.

   If docking to the USB port with a Lightning device it may be necessary to turn the unit on to begin 

play. If operating on batteries you will need to turn the unit on to begin play.

4.  By default, the unit turns on to the last connection (USB port or 30-pin dock) a device was PLAYED 

through, not the last connection docked to. Press and release the     

Button

 as needed to select 

and start playback of the desried device.

5.  Control your iPad, iPhone or iPod music using its iPod controls. Use the 

/

– Buttons

 on 

the unit to adjust system volume.  

6.  When you are done listening, press and hold the     

Button

 to turn unit off. You can also turn the 

unit off by removing a playing device from the 30-pin dock OR USB port. 

Playing Audio via Aux

1.  Connect a right-angled 3.5 mm stereo audio plug to the headphone or line-out jack on your 

audio device and the other end to the line-in jack located on the back of the unit.

2.  Press the      

Button

 to turn on the unit. Press and release as needed to access aux mode, indicated 

by the     

Button

 LED turning Red.

3.  Turn on your audio device and place it in play mode.

4.  Use the 

/

- Buttons

 to adjust volume. You may wish to adjust the volume on your audio device, too.

5. When done listening, press and hold the     

Button

 as needed to turn the unit off. Remember to 

turn off your audio device, too.
