Opening the Upper Door:
First thing to know is that the upper door has two open positions. Full open where the door is almost vertical.
The second position is half open where the door is positioned at about 45 degrees.
The door open positions are controlled by a small ratchet assembly on the right side wall.

Ratchet in half open position
To place the upper door in the half open position, First open the upper door to full open and then rotate it back down
until you hear the door ratchet click.
The upper door must be in the half open position to remove the main monitor.
