Installing Ignis Pixel software
1.
Download installation file from the page of Ignis Pixel on our website

2.
Run the file and proceed to the end of installation.
3.
Start Ignis Pixel Utility using the shortcut on your desktop.
4.
Turn on your poi
and connect it to your computer.
5.
Click "Settings" button in the lower left corner.
6.
Select REAL device: «iPixel… (COM …)» (NOT «Virtual Poi»).
If you doesn’t see « iPixel… (COM …)» in list of devices then:
1.
Close settings.
2.
Make sure that your poi is ON and connected.
3.
Open settings again and find device in list « iPixel… (COM …)».
4.
If it doesn’t help try to do these methods – one of them should help:
a.
Change USB port.
b.
Change USB cord.
c.
Reboot your computer.
d.
Re-Install Ignis Pixel Utility.

Uploading Firmware of Ignis Pixel
Important! Don’t upload Firmware on poi if you use Ignis Pixel Utility version 1.3.1 or lower!
Otherwise poi stop working!
Your poi have up to date firmware. Uploading firmware is system function that you don’t need in
normal work. If firmware is damaged and need to be uploaded contact us first and we will send you
special instructions for this procedure.
Programming timeline modes (time-programmed sequence of pictures).
You can set duration for each uploaded picture and thus create a sequence of them, synchronized
with the music. There are 10 timeline sequences T1-T10.
To configure the timeline:
1.
Start Ignis Pixel Utility, switch on you digital poi and connect it to your computer.
2.
Open single pictures from files to any cells from 1 to 80 in the left column. You can drag and
drop files from Explorer to these cells.
3.
Select any "Timeline Mode" and drag pictures from left cells to the right part of the window.
Sequence of pictures in right part of window can be changed by dragging.
4.
Set the duration in seconds for each picture. Fractional values of time can be set through the
point such as 7.426 seconds with precision of 0.001 second.
