General Information
This operation’s manual in coincidence with a passport, is a guide to the operation and maintenance
of the portable gas analyser «МULTIGASSENS-М2» and contains descriptions of the principle of
operation, technical characteristics and other information, necessary to ensure proper operation.
The devices are designed to measure the concentration of combustible gases, volume fraction of
oxygen and carbon monoxide, as well as the volume fraction of hydrogen sulphide. The device can be
used in coal, oil, gas and power industries.
This device is marked with the Р0 Ex ia I /0 Ex ia IIС T4 explosion proof mark.
The manufacturer guarantees regular operation of the detector, only if the requirements of this
document are observed.
This Manual must be carefully read before using the detectors. Prior to operation or
maintenance of the detectors, make sure that you read and understood the content of the Manual in
full. This condition is obligatory to ensure safe operation and proper functioning of the detectors.

Description and Operation
1.1
Function and Application Range
Devices are designed to measure the concentration of combustible gases and volume ratio of
oxygen, carbon oxide and hydrogen disulfide. Devices can be used in coal, oil, gas, power industry.
The detector performs the following functions:
-
continuous monitoring and digital indication of controlled gas components;
-
light, sound and vibro-alarm when concentration of controlled gases reaches the set (alarm) level;
-
record and subsequent display of concentration extreme values over a period after switching on;
-
recording of measurement results by means of non-volatile memory;
-
transfer of measurement results to a PC;
-
fault indication
