RISK DUE TO THE ELECTRIC MAINS
This risk factor is due to the electric mains being wrongly connected or connected to
inefficient power supply systems.
In order to reduce this risk factor, check that the electric mains are of the proper di-
mension and that the machine is connected to the earth system.
PROCEDURE FOR SAFE WORK
The machine must be disconnected from the supply of electricity before any cleaning
or maintenance work.
Before any cleaning or maintenance work disconnect the machine.
Ensure that all around the machine a space of 15 ÷ 20 mm is left free
of obstacles. Do not remove protection devices from the machine.
TRANSPORT, HANDLING AND STORAGE
Check the overall weight of the machine and carry out any movement by using
proper means.
When unpacking, do not use pointed tools that could scratch the machine. Packaging
parts must be disposed of in accordance with current regulations.
WORK PLACE AND CORRECT POSITION
Place the machine in a suitable position, following operating and ergonomic require-
ments, such as loading, unloading, gas rings,
and electric power supply. Check the
working surface and ensure that all around the machine a space of 15 ÷ 20 mm is left
free of obstacles.
ELECTRIC MAINS
The electric mains must be of the right dimension in order to sustain the machine
electrical power (electric cables section more than 21,5 mm) and must comply with
current regulations. Make sure that voltages correspond to those indicated in the
identification plate of the machine and that it is connected to the earth system. Check
the efficiency of the earthing cable.
Plug the machine electric cable into a suitable power point. In case the plug given
with the machine’s kit is to be replaced, this operation must be carried out by a spe-
cialised technician, in compliance with rules of jurisdiction.
The electric description of the machine is included in
ATTACHMENT 2.
