OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Fitting the Castors
• Turn the appliance upside down.
• Attach the castors to the bottom of the appliance securely using the wing
nuts provided.
• Turn the appliance back upright, then wait 5 minutes before turning the
appliance back on.
Location of the Appliance
The appliance should be positioned where you most need the warmth. It is
recommended to place the appliance underneath the coldest window in the
room as this helps to increase the convective movement of the heat. Do not
locate the appliance underneath a fixed power point and always ensure that the
appliance is placed at least 1m away from furniture, curtains, walls etc.
First Time Use
• When the appliance is turned on for the first time, operate at its maximum
heat setting for at least 2 hours. Ensure you are in a well-ventilated area
during this time, as the heater will give off a ‘new’ smell. This is completely
normal.
• The appliance will make ‘cracking’ noises when it is first turned on and when
it is turned off and cooling down.
• Connect the appliance to the power socket and press the On/Off button
once to switch the appliance to standby mode.
• Press the power button to switch the appliance to ‘On’. The default power
level and temperature will be set and the appliance will begin to work.
