4.2 Memory Module Replacement

To replace memory modules, follow the steps below:

Step 1:

Turn off the GRAND-C422-20D. Disconnect the power adaptor, network cable(s),

and any other connectors or cables from the GRAND-C422-20D.

Step 2:

Put on an antistatic wrist strap to prevent electrostatic discharge. The crocodile

clip should be connected to the ground.

Step 3:

Loosen the two captive screws on the rear of the GRAND-C422-20D. Slide the

top cover towards rear panel. Grab the handle to lift the top cover off the system.

Step 4:

Locate the memory module on the main board. Release the memory module by

pulling the ejector clips gently out of the sides of the RAM slot.
