Step 4: Take the SO-DIMM out from the thermal bracket.
Remove the thermal pad on
the thermal bracket and remove the two retention screws (
Figure 7-3
). Open the
thermal bracket and take the SO-DIMM out.

Step 5: Replace the new SO-DIMM into the thermal bracket.
Remember to adhere
the thermal pad on the both side of the SO-DIMM.
Step 6: Secure the thermal bracket
with the two previously removed retention screws.
Step 7: Align the SO-DIMM with the socket
. The SO-DIMM must be oriented in such a
way that the notch in the middle of the SO-DIMM must be aligned with the
