BATTERY FUNCTION
When AC power is applied, the battery will begin charging until the battery reaches full capacity.
When it does, the charging will taper off. If the power goes out, the table will automatically
switch to battery back-up mode. An audible tone is sounded when using an operator control
function if the battery charge is low.
POWER SUPPLY AND RELAY FUNCTION
The power supply and relay normally supply 12VDC to the electromagnetic brakes to keepthe
tabletop from moving. When an operator control is activated to release the brakes, 24VDC is
applied in the reverse direction. Because the electromagnetic breaks contain a permanent magnet,
there is limited braking action during an AC failure or if the AC switch is off.
