6 OPERATION
The product Alco Power Fighter Manual Monitors may only be used for its intended purpose.
• Observe the safety information and note the specific hazards which can occur during oper-
ation
• Subsequent modification of the product is only permissible in consultation with the manufac-
turer
• The product must be drained after each use
• Foam agents can have a highly corrosive effect on aluminium. The product must be flushed
thoroughly (at least 5 min) with clear water after each use with foam agent
• The maximum operating pressure must not be exceeded
In order to prevent damage or injury during operation of the product, it is essential to observe
the following points:
•
The product may only be operated by qualified personnel and in compliance with the safety
information.
• The product must be installed and ready for operation.
• A product which has been folded for transport must be unfolded.

The extinguishing agent output must be within the permissible rotating and swivelling
range.
• The product must be positioned in such a way that no parts can collide with fixed objects
during rotating and swivelling movements.
6.1 Monitor with hand lever
1) Release the clamp of the twist and swivel lock.
2) Open the extinguishing agent feed.
3) Operate the product using the hand lever.
