INTENDED USE
The IZ8701 set has a wide range of applications. It can be used for cutting and shaping hair, beards and
moustaches, shaving beards and moustaches, as well as trimming nose and ear hair.
SERVICE
• Before use, check the appliance is complete and undamaged.
• Remove all transport protection.
• The clipper can be used as a mains or battery powered device.
• If mains-powered, the unit is ready to use immediately.
Electric power supply
• Switch off the appliance by moving the switch (3) to the "0" position.
• Connect one end of the cable (14) to the socket (5) and the other end to the power supply unit (not supplied),
with the parameters given above, and then to the mains.
• Connection to the mains is indicated by the indicator (4).
• To start operation, set the switch (3) to position "1".
Charging and operation with the batt
• Switch the unit off by moving the switch (3) to the "0" position.
• Connect one end of the cable (14) to the socket (5) and the other end to the power supply unit (not supplied),
with the parameters given above, and then to the mains.
• Connection to the mains is indicated by the indicator (4).
• Battery charging time is approximately 1.5 hours.
