Malfunction causes and remedies
The table shown below gives the possible cause of the malfunction described in frame 40.
The table also provides instructions of how to remedy the malfunction.
The room thermostat is not properly connected; ensure a proper connection of the poles!
The room thermostat does not switch off. Defective thermostat or wiring.
The hot water tank sensor is short-circuited or defective.
The hot water tank sensor is disconnected: loose contact or wire cut.
The three-way valve does not revolve: loose contact in cable connections or in valve connector.
A leakage in the three-way valve has occurred because of contamination and/or wear or the three-way valve is not
properly connected (at the central heating side).
The room thermostat is incorrectly set (anticipation resistance) or there is a loose contact in the room thermostat
(on/off thermostat) or in the connecting wires.
Sensor is defective or not connected.
The central heating potentiometer on the control panel is set at an insufficient value (in case of an on/off control) or
the IRT (Intelligent Room Thermostat) is incorrectly set (mod. thermostat).
