4.1.9. Cleaning the drain pipe (incl. siphon)

For units connected to the wastewater system, the drains including the siphon (model-dependent) must be flushed with hot water to
remove possible impurities and bacteria.
For units that have condensate evaporation (hot gas or electric), remove the drain pipe from the condensate tray and flush it with hot
water. Transfer the cleaning water into a suitable container.

Attaching the drain hose to the condensate tray.

Make sure that after cleaning the well including the siphon and drain pipes, they are properly reattached to the condensa-
tion tray. Water can leak out. There is a possible risk of slipping.
