Chain Tensioner

STARTER RECOIL HOUSING ASSEMBLY
•
To reattach the starter cover assembly, first pull.
the starter cord out, then hold the starter recoil housing against the crankcase
• Slowly release the starter cord to enable the pulley
to fit between the pawls.
• Insert and tighten the screws. Use blue Loctite®
#242.
CHAIN TENSIONER
The chain tensioner can become clogged with concrete slurry during cutting.
•
After each use thoroughly flush the chain tensioner with water and apply a
liberal amount of waterproof grease covering the chain tensioner screw.
