6 Maintenance

There are two options available:

•

Performing an update using IRSoft or

•

Performing an update with the thermal imager

Downloading firmware

- Download firmware:

Firmware-testo-865-872.exe

- Unzip file: double-click on the exe. file



FW_T87x_Vx.xx.bin

is stored in the selected folder.

Performing an update using IRSoft

6.4.1.1

Preparing the camera



- The rechargeable battery is fully charged or the camera is connected

to the mains adapter.

- Connect the computer to the camera with the USB cable.

- Switch on the camera.

6.4.1.2

Performing an update



IRSoft is activated.

- Select

Camera

→

Configuration

- Click on

Configure thermal imager



The

Camera settings

window opens.

- Select

Instrument settings

→

Firmware Update

→



FW_T87x_Vx.xx.bin

is displayed.

- Select

Open



Firmware update is performed.



Thermal imager is automatically restarted. Update complete.

In certain circumstances, the camera reports:

Firmware update

finished. Please restart the device

. A restart is not performed.
