Commissioning with ventilation
CAUTION! Risk of injury in case of damage.
Visual inspection required before use.
Damage to the device or its attachments can result in component failure and injuries
when the equipment is under pressure.
Check the
ICP 700 T
carefully for damage.
Never use the
ICP 700 T
if you have found any damage. Return the device
immediately
to the manufacturer for repair.
The
ICP 700 T
can be put immediately into operation, as it has already been filled with
hydraulic oil at the factory. You find further information in § 7 "Replace oil".
A prerequisite for use is, however, the pressure-resistant connection of a suitable reference
and the test sample.
Furthermore, for the best measurement operation possible, sufficient and correct ventilation
of the measurement setup is required. Only then, you can reduce the pressure fluctuations
(
§ 3.1) to a minimum
Maximum torque of the pressure connections!
Reference:
25 Nm
Test sample: 25 Nm
Carry out the following steps* for the commissioning and ventilation of the
ICP 700
T
. Please also observe the notes in § 5.1 "Generating pressure".
1. Turn the seal of the reservoir in the position "V E N T ".
2. Open the pressure relief valve by turning counter-clockwise.
3. Unscrew the dummy plug from the valve block.
4. Turn the reference with matching seal in the connection (G ¼) of the
ICP 700 T
.
IMPORTANT! Do not tighten the reference yet!
5. Carefully pump until the hydraulic liquid escapes at the connection and the piston sys-
tem has been ventilated.
6. Tighten the reference.
* The steps 2 to 6 are only required for the first commissioning or during removal of the reference.
CAUTION! Material damage!
The test sample, the adapter and the seal must be free from impurities.
If impurities enter th
ICP 700 T
T through the pressure hose, the
ICP 700 T
may be
damaged.
