Linking I-7000 and I-87K Modules for Remote I/O

For more details, refer to Chapter 6 of the ISaGRAF user manual.

One of COM3 (RS-232/485) and COM4 (RS-232) can be used to connect to remote I/O modules.
(As the figure below, the COM3 is used)

When using the COM4 port to connect I/O modules, the I-7520R (RS-232 to RS-485 Converter) is
needed to connect both the PAC and remote I/O modules.

One I-8xx7 can connect up to 64 remote I/O modules, but we suggest not more than 40. In
addition, each module must be set a unique address and the same baud rate with the PAC.
