3.11 Update I-8xx7’s Hardware Driver
Visit to the website to download the latest version of ISaGRAF driver and extract the zip file:

To Know the Current Driver Version (We use driver 3. 16 as an example)
1. Create a folder named
“
8000” in the hard drive (e.g., “c:\8000”).
2. Copy "7188xw.exe", "7188xw.ini", "7188xw.f4", "isa.exe", “isa_data.exe”, "autoexec.bat",
and "8k050408.img" from the driver folder to the “8000” folder.
3. To check that the serial connection (e.g., ‘COM1’) between a PC and a PAC is functional
through a RS-232 cable. If using other COM port (e.g., ‘COM5’), modify the command in the
first line in the “7188xw.ini” file.
4. Power off the PAC, connect pin
“
INIT
”
to
“
INIT COM
”
, then power it up.
5. Run
“
7188xw. exe
”
on PC and a
“
7188xw
”
screen will be displayed. If the connection is Ok,
“
I-8000>” will be shown on the screen.
6.
Type
“
ver
”
to see the current OS version & date.
7. Type
“
isa *p= ” to see the current version of driver and information about the PAC.
