On 15.06.2019, the new Electric Vehicle Regulation (eKFV) has been finalized, so Kick Scooters can legally participate in road traffic in Gemany.
The ideas behind it are to enable new ways of modern, environmentally friendly and clean mobility in our cities.
The iconBIT Kick Scooter CITY is approved for road traffic according to eKFV and owns the General Permission to be used in roads in Germany.

1.1. General Information
The original Kick Scooter CITY is an intuitive, technologically advanced solution. Using the latest technology and production processes,
each scooter undergoes strict testing for quality and durability. With its lightweight, portable design, ease of use and range.

2.4. LCD Display
1. SPEED
This serves as a Speed Meter which will
display the current speed you are travelling
at, in KM/H.
2. GEAR
Short press the Power-Button to switch
between the 3 Speed Gears.
Each gear setting will give a different level
of acceleration and maxium speed.
Gear 1: Slow Acceleration.
Gear 2: Medium Acceleration.
Gear 3: Fastest Acceleration.

This serves as an ODOMETER that keeps
track of the total distance accumulated on
the Kick Scooter CITY. Total distance will be
shown at turning on of kick scooter. After
that ODOMETER will show the single
distance.
6. BATTERY
Displays an estimate of the battery strength
that remains before requiring a recharge. A
fully charged battery (100%) will show 4
bars. Please remember to charge your
battery when it is on it's last bar. As the
battery depletes, the strength of the motor
will get weaker.

2.1. Assembly
The Kick Scooter CITY can be assembled within 2 minutes:
• Install the Handlebars and tighten the screws.
2.2. Folding
The Smart Kick Scooter can be folded in a few seconds.
2.3. Unfolding
You can unfold the Kick Scooter CITY without any inconvenience in seconds.

3. Operating Principles
3.1. Operation
•
Hold the ON/OFF Button (under the LCD display) for 3 Seconds to turn the
scooter OFF or ON.
• Short press the ON/OFF Button for gear change.
• Double press the ON/OFF Button to turn ON/OFF the front and rear lights.
3.2. How to ride your Kick Scooter CITY
• Switch on the Kick Scooter CITY.
• Stand with a foot on the footboard.
•
Manually kick the scooter forward for initial speed (the motor will not engage
from a standing start).
• Press the accelerator lever down to accelerate and release to decelerate.
•
The hand operated brake is located on the handle bars, press the lever down
progressively to deccelerate.

Getting Started
Take your scooter out of the box and place it flat on the floor.
Step 2:
Charging your Kick Scooter CITY
Make sure the Kick Scooter CITY is fully charged before your initial use. For charging instructions, please follow details in Section 8 under
Battery and Charging Specifications.
Step 3:
Wear all proper safety gear, including, but not limited to a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards.
