Wireless Web Interface User’s Manual

21.2.1.1 Users

Click

Management->SNMP Conﬁguration->SNMP Authentication->Users

to add or delete SNMPv3 users.

•

SNMP username – the username; range is from 1 to 32 characters

•

SNMP group – the group name that the user belongs to; range is from 1 to 32 characters

•

Security level – the encryption level of the current user:

noAuthNoPriv

for no authentication and no privacy;

AuthNoPriv

for

authentication but no privacy;

AuthPriv

for authentication and privacy

•

Authentication protocol – conﬁgures the used algorithm:

MD5

SHA

•

Authentication password – the authentication password of the current user; range is from 8 to 32 characters

•

Privacy protocol – uses the DES for packet privacy. This can only be conﬁgured when the security level is selected as

AuthPriv

•

Privacy Password – password as conﬁgured on SNMP authorization server

•

IPv4 access control list – control list deﬁned in

Wired Conﬁguration->ACL Conﬁguration->Name ACL

•

IPv6 access control list – control list deﬁned in

Wired Conﬁguration->IPv6 ACL Conﬁguration->IPv6 name access-list
