USING YOUR TOASTER:
1. Insert one regular bread slice into each
bread slot. Two slices can be inserted
simultaneously.
NOTE: Make sure the crumb tray is
properly positioned in place before using.
2. Plug the power cord into the outlet.
3. Set the browning control knob to your
desired colour. It has 7 positions (see
Fig.1). The lowest “1” is for light and the
highest “7” is for dark. The middle position
toasts to a golden colour.
NOTE:
1. Toasting colour for one slice is darker
than that for two bread slices at the same
level.
2. If toasting several times in succession
at the same setting, the toasting colour
becomes progressively darker.
4. Lower the loading handle vertically until it
is latched in place. The indicator for Cancel
will be illuminated, and the appliance will
begin toasting at once.
NOTE: The loading handle can only be
latched when the appliance is plugged in.
5. Once the bread has been toasted to the
preset color, the loading handle will
automatically pop up.
NOTE: During toasting, you may also
observe the toasting colour. If it is
satisfactory, you can press the Stop button
to stop the operation at any time. You
cannot stop the toasting process by lifting
up the loading handle.
6. To toast frozen bread, press the Defrost
button and the indicator of Defrost button
will be illuminated. Set the browning
control knob to your desired color, and
then lower the loading handle down
vertically until it is latched in place. In this
mode frozen bread will be toasted to the
desired color.
7. To warm cooling toasted bread, press the
Reheat button and the indicator of Reheat
button will be illuminated. Then lower the
loading handle vertically until it is latched
in place. In this mode toasting time is
fixed, so when this time is reached, the
loading handle will automatically spring
up and complete the reheating process.
CAUTION:
1. Remove all packaging material prior to
toasting.
2. If the toaster starts to smoke, immediately
press the Stop button to interrupt toasting.
3. Avoid toasting food with runny ingredients
such as margarine.
4. Never attempt to remove bread jammed in
the slots without unplugging the toaster
from the electrical outlet first. Be sure not
to damage the internal mechanism or
heating elements when removing bread.
5. The bread slot is only suitable for toasting
sliced bread.
6. To achieve uniform toast colour, please
rest the toaster for at least a minimum of
30 seconds between each toasting.

from the outlet and let the appliance cool
down completely.

cord can be wound under the bottom of
