GENERAL DESCRIPTION
EN
USE:
Read the instructions before using this
appliance. Always check that the voltage
on the label of your appliance is the same as
the mains electricity before plugging it in.
1. Plug your appliance into the socket.
2. Use the toaster once without any bread
inside. This heats the new elements and
will burn away any dust that may have
collected during storage.
3. When you have used the appliance once,
select the browning setting you want
(lightly toasted is 1 and well done is 6).
If you are not sure about the setting, start
with the lowest setting (the black mark on
the selector shows the setting). The setting
you require may be different depending on
the moisture content of the bread and its
thickness. You will produce the best results
if the slices are the same thickness,
freshness and size. Remember that dry
bread toasts more quickly than freshly-
baked bread, and that thin slices toast more
quickly than thick ones. See the sections
later in the manual for more information.
A) 4 slices of bread can be toasted at the
same time.
B) Put 1-4 slices of bread into the slots and
press the lever down.
If you want to use the special functions:
press the lever down and then press the
special function you want: REHEAT or
DEFROST. The corresponding control
lamp shows that the function is active.
