13. Do not touch the toaster’s metal surface either during or after
use, as it gets extremely hot.
14. Make sure there is enough room above and around all sides of
the toaster to allow air to circulate. Put the toaster on a heat-
resistant surface. Watch your toaster when using it. If the toaster
is covered by or touches flammable material, including curtains,
drapes, walls, etc. when in use, it can cause a fire.
15. Do not use it under a cupboard.
16. You should not put food, metal packages or cutlery into the
toaster, as this may cause a fire or an electric shock.
17. Do not try to remove the bread when the toaster is in use and
never put cooking implements into the compartment. Never try
to pick out objects by putting your fingers into the bread slots. If
the bread gets stuck in the toaster, unplug the appliance. Let the
toaster cool down and then remove the bread.
18. Do not put bread or other objects on top of the bread slots as this
can damage your toaster and is a fire risk.
