1.4 Alarm Setup
Note:
Alarm function is only supported by some models.
Please refer to Figure 1-6 for more details.

Please follow the steps listed below for alarm input and output connection.
Step 1 Connect the alarm input device to the alarm input port of the I/O cable.
Step 2 Connect alarm output device to alarm output port of the I/O cable; alarm output is the output of
collector open circuit, which needs the alarm device to pull up 10K resistance to +3.3V
Step 3 Open WEB and set corresponding alarm input and output in the alarm setup. Please set the
alarm input of the WEB end to the alarm input of I/O port cable of the corresponding device.
Then set corresponding NO/NC input according to the high/low level signal generated when
alarm occurs to the alarm input device.
Step 4 Set the WEB alarm output. The alarm output is for the alarm output port of the device. It is the
alarm output port of the I/O cable.
The working current of alarm output port is recommended as <=10mA, max current is 80mA which is
used to drive external circuit; it is advised to add a relay when it is beyond this value.
