1. Open the computer cover. See “Opening the cover” on page 5.
2.
Pivot the drive bay assembly upward to gain access to the speaker connector.
3.
Locate the speaker connector on the system board. See “Identifying parts on the
system board” on page 4.
4. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
5.
Push downward on the metal tab shown while lifting the speaker out from the
computer.
Note: You might need a flat-blade screwdriver to gently pry the speaker from
the metal tabs that secure it.
