SAN Volume Controller 2145-CG8 ports used during service
procedures
The SAN Volume Controller 2145-CG8 contains a number of ports that are only
used during service procedures.
Figure 48 shows ports that are used only during service procedures.

Two monitor ports, one on the front and one on the rear

Four USB ports, two on the front and two on the rear
During normal operation, none of these ports are used. Connect a device to any of
these ports only when you are directed to do so by a service procedure or by an
IBM service representative.
SAN Volume Controller 2145-CG8 unused ports
The SAN Volume Controller 2145-CG8 can contain one port that is not used.
Figure 49 on page 62 shows the one port that is not used during service procedures
or normal use.
