About this manual

This manual is divided into product service sections (by machine chassis) and
a related service section, as follows:

The product service sections include procedures for isolating problems to a
FRU, a Symptom-to-FRU Index, additional service information and an
illustrated parts catalog.

The related service section includes safety notices and safety information,
and problem determination tips.

Note:

This manual is intended for trained servicers who are familiar with
IBM Personal Computer products. Use this manual along with
advanced diagnostic tests to troubleshoot problems effectively.
