If your system uses...

Then...

AC power

Unplug the power cords from the power
source, and then remove the power cords.

DC power

Remove the power at the DC source, and
then remove the DC wires, if necessary.

Removing the module

You must use this procedure to remove the LED/LCD/CompactFlash module.

Procedure

If you are not already grounded, properly ground yourself.

Remove the bezel from the front of the system.

Loosen the two thumbscrews on the top corners of the module, and remove the
LED/LCD/CompactFlash module.

The CompactFlash card in this module is a separate field-replaceable

unit (FRU). If you are replacing it also, see appropriate

Installing the module

You must use this procedure to install the LED/LCD/CompactFlash module.

Procedure

If you are not already grounded, properly ground yourself.

Remove the bezel, if necessary.

Align the edges of the LED/LCD/CompactFlash module with the opening in
the chassis.
