From the rear of the rack, disconnect the
I/O subsystem's power cables from the
power distribution bus.

Remove the retaining screws

(A)

located

on the rear of the I/O subsystem unit.

Label and disconnect all of the cables
connected to the rear of the I/O
subsystem.

Remove the I/O subsystem

From the rear of the rack, pull the I/O
subsystem straight back until the
subsystem stops.

To allow the subsystem to move further to
the rear, press the stop latch

(A)

Support the I/O subsystem as you pull it
toward the rear of the rack.

When the I/O subsystem is out of the
rack, place it on a stable work surface.

Remove the I/O subsystem service access cover
