Loosen the two captive thumbscrews

(A)

located at the rear of the cover.

2.

From the rear of the I/O subsystem, lift
the cover and slide it backwards until the
front disengages.

3.

Lift the cover off the I/O subsystem unit.

Remove the RIO bus adapter

1.

Squeeze the release latches

(A)

to release

them from the card and rotate in the
direction shown.

2.

Carefully pull the card straight up and out
of the slot.

Remove the I/O backplane
