Insert an data CD into the CD-ROM drive. Many program CDs will
automatically start at this point. If the CD does not automatically start, go
on to step 3.

Double-click My Computer.

4.

Verify that the CD-ROM icon is displayed.

5.

Double-click the CD-ROM icon.

6.

Verify that you can view files on the CD.

If you are unable to select the CD-ROM icon or view data, see “Appendix B.
Problem solving” on page B-1 or see “Appendix C. Help and service
information” on page C-1 for service information.
