1. View the system-error log (see “Error logs” on page
84).
2. Use the force-power-on jumper as a debugging aid
(see “I/O board jumpers” on page 9) to determine
whether the information panel switch and cable are
faulty.
3. (Trained service technician only) Replace the I/O
board, see “Removing the I/O board assembly” on
page 68 and “Replacing the I/O board assembly” on
page 69.

1. View the system-error log (see “Error logs” on page
84).
2. Press the power-control button on the operator
information panel. See “Front view” on page 4.
3. Use the force-power-on jumper as a debugging aid

whether the information panel switch and cable are
faulty.
4. Remove the optional Remote Supervisor Adapter II
SlimLine, and try to turn on the server. See
