It is not recommended to select Manual when the printer is set for either the
Rear-Pull or the Push-Pull forms paths. Manual can be selected from the operator
panel, but to use it, you will need to re-configure the paper path both before and
after using Manual. Manual cannot be selected via the IPDS data stream when the
printer is set for either the Rear Pull or the Push Pull forms paths.

Notes:

1.

If you currently have the printer configured for the Rear Pull path, before using
Manual Sheet Feed you must install the paper bail.

2.

If the printer is currently configured for the Rear Pull or Push-Pull forms paths,
you must put the forms guide metal deflector in the push (open) position before
using the Manual Sheet Feed.

3.

If you are using the Manual Paper Overlay option, ensure you have the value
set to

Enabled

in the Printer Setup category, continuous forms are loaded in the

appropriate forms path, then continue with step 5.
An overlaying manual sheet can be loaded into the printer only when the
printer is in “not ready” state.

Procedure

1.

Press Park/Path.
If continuous forms are currently in the printer for Front Push, Rear Push, or
Push-Pull, the printer displays

TEAR OFF AT OUTPUT AND PRESS PARK

If continuous forms are currently in the printer for Rear Pull, the printer
displays

092 FANFOLD PARK

TEAR OFF AT INPUT AND PRESS EJECT

2.

Press Stop and perform the action requested on the operator panel display.

3.

Press Park/Path to back the forms below the print line.

4.

Press Park/Path again to change the path on the operator panel display to

Manual

.

5.

Insert your thumb into the center opening and pull the door down.
