Lower the three point hitch arms so that the chain is taut and is supporting the
weight of the drawbar as seen in (Fig. 10). Be sure to check the chain so that
there isn’t too much excess hanging from the small clevis attached to the
tractor’s top link, to where it may come in contact with moving components and
cause serious harm or damage to equipment and/or people. Make sure that you
still have a minimum of 3 inches of clearance between the top of the PTO shaft
and the bottom of the hitch pin receiver as mentioned earlier. If not, reinstall
the chain with a shorter length by selecting a different link.

The kit comes with longer pull ropes for the tailgate release and net feeding (for
net wrap balers). Check to see if you can reach the existing ropes with the
drawbar kit installed and, if not, replace with the longer ropes.
