4. The new j-hooks are slightly shorter to allow the acorn
nut to fully thread down onto the tie down. Take one of
the j-hooks and insert it into the tie down. Thread the
acorn nut on with two revolutions. Your tie down should
have only one j-hook attached at this point. Set the tie
down aside.

5. Now, take your other j-hook and slide into the hole on
the chassis that is located on the back side of the battery.
Hold the j-hook upright and side the tie down on top of
the threaded portion. Now thread the acorn onto the hook
but do not tighten.

6. Now push down on the front j-hook and secure the
bottom into the chassis. The tie down should now be
positioned on top of the battery. Using your 10mm socket
and torque wrench, torque the acorn nuts to 10lb/ft.

7. Re-install the battery terminal and enjoy your new tie
down.
