8 First Steps
8.1 Ba ery
The ba ery is inserted into the back of the phone. The ba ery is not
fully charged when the phone is purchased, but it contains enough en-
ergy to power on the phone. To obtain best ba ery performance and
ba ery life, let the ba ery discharge completely before charging it
completely for the first three charging cycles.
8.1.1 Installing and Extrac ng the Ba ery
When installing the ba ery, insert the teeth at the bo om of the ba t-
tery into the corresponding notches of the phone, then press the bat-
tery down and secure it by turning the two screws with the delivered
screw driver (TORX T8). Ensure that the ba ery is safely in place before
powering on the phone.
Turn the phone upside down, turn the screws and remove the ba ery.
Insert the battery into the phone as indicated in the pictures below.
