By using GOP control, the data volume can be reduced.
•
When “H.265” is selected for “Stream encoding format”: Off/ Low(Variable GOP 1s-8s)/
Mid(Variable GOP 4s-16s)/ Advanced(Fixed GOP 60s w/1s key-frame)/ Frame rate
control(Variable GOP 4s-16s w/frame rate control)
•
When “H.264” is selected for “Stream encoding format”: Off/ Low(Variable GOP 1s-8s)/
Mid(Variable GOP 4s-16s)

IMPORTANT
•
When “Low(Variable GOP 1s-8s)”, “Mid(Variable GOP 4s-16s)” or “Frame rate
control(Variable GOP 4s-16s w/frame rate control)”, images can be recorded on the SD
memory card only by “Manual” or “Schedule”.
Note:
•
When using GOP control, the refresh interval is increased when streaming H.265 (or H.264)
images. For this reason, do not use it when the network environment has frequent errors.
•
“Low(Variable GOP 1s-8s)”, “Mid(Variable GOP 4s-16s)”, and “Frame rate control(Variable
GOP 4s-16s w/frame rate control)” are available only when “VBR” is selected for
“Transmission priority”. “Advanced(Fixed GOP 60s w/1s key-frame)” can be set regardless
of “Transmission priority”.
•
By using “Low(Variable GOP 1s-8s)”, “Mid(Variable GOP 4s-16s)”, and “Frame rate
control(Variable GOP 4s-16s w/frame rate control)”, the data volume can be reduced when
there are no targets to be detected (people’s heads, bodies, vehicles and two
-wheel
vehicles) in the image. By using “Advanced(Fixed GOP 60s w/1s key-frame)”, the data
volume can be reduced regardless of the presence/absence of targets to be detected.
•
When “Frame rate control(Variable GOP 4s-16s w/frame rate control)” is selected, the
frame rate will vary between 1fps and the value set in [Frame rate*] depending on the
presence/absence of targets to be detected.
•
When “Frame rate control(Variable GOP 4s-16s w/frame rate control)” is selected, the
display may temporarily become slower or faster when changing frame rates.
•
When “Low(Variable GOP 1s-8s)”, “Mid(Variable GOP 4s-16s)”, “Advanced(Fixed GOP 60s
w/1s key-frame)” or “Frame rate control(Variable GOP 4s-16s w/frame rate control)” is
selected, the bit rate will be limited.
•
When GOP control is set to Low(Variable GOP 1s-8s), Mid(Variable GOP 4s-16s) or Frame
rate control (Variable GOP 4s-16s w/frame rate control), the frame rate is limited up to 7.5
fps (up to 6.25 fps in 12.5 fps mode)
or up to 15 fps (up to 12.5 fps in 25 fps
mode)
regardless of the set frame rate.
