Safety
• Please use Soundgenic on a local network.
It is extremely dangerous to assign a global IP address to Soundgenic and
directly make that publicly known on the Internet. If you want to make this
unit’s IP address publicly known, please ensure security so that this unit is
not subject to an attack via the Internet.
• It is necessary to correctly set the time on Soundgenic. It is recommended
to use a setting that synchronises with a time server in an environment with
internet connectivity.
• If there is an extremely large volume of data written in Soundgenic’s built-in
disk, it may take a long time than normal for Soundgenic to start up.
• Do not disconnect the power cord or turn off the power to Soundgenic
while the indicator is blinking. It could cause a failure or loss of data.
• It may not be possible to access Soundgenic due to firewall software. If this
happens, authorize access for ports No. 137 to 139, and No. 445 on the
firewall software side.
[Important] Cautions on Transfer and Disposal
● In order to avoid problems such as information leaks, be sure to
completely erase data by completely erasing the built-in disk during
system initialization or other means.
* About music on the HDD
Transferring the HDD to another party without deleting the music and
other data on the HDD may violate copyright laws.
● Be sure to dispose of this product in accordance with the regula-
tions of the local government.
