1) How to attach the WiFi antenna
The i-MO appliance is supplied with a WiFi interface. This can be enabled on request at time of order. If the
WiFi interface is enabled install the WiFi antennas on the WiFi aerial connectors ANT 7 and ANT 8 as shown
below. Fold the aerial and turn it so the aerial is pointing upwards as shown below.
Note
:
Connectors should be touch tight only! Do not over tighten.
2) How to attach the 3G/4G antennas
The i-MO 210 C Series 4G Router appliance is normally supplied with a minimum of 2 of 3G/4G aerials.
A variety of options are available. The aerials should be mounted external to any building or cabin and as
high as possible. The aerials should be spaced 1 metre apart.
When using two standard aerials, the connectors on the aerial cables must be attached to the aerial sockets
'ANT 1' and 'ANT 3' as shown below.
These are the ‘Main’ sockets. Additional aerials can be connected to
‘Diversity’ sockets ‘ANT 2’ and ‘ANT 4’.
If using dual lead ‘MIMO’ aerials, connect the leads marked ‘Main’ to ‘ANT 1’ & ‘ANT 3’ and the leads marked
‘Diversity’ to ‘ANT 2’ & ‘ANT 4’.
Note: Connectors should be 'touch' tight only. DO NOT over-tighten!
