5. Warranty
The warranty period for a device is 24 months from the date
of delivery. Wear parts, consumables, case surfaces, necklaces
and eyelets are generally excluded from warranty claims. A war-
ranty claim expires:
• in the event of damage due to improper operation or inap-
propriate use of the sinus Body;
• in the event of damage due to mechanical influences cau -
sed by the customer, such as falling, crushing, contact with
water, etc.;
• damage, failure, loss or deterioration due to ordinary wear
and tear, from abuse, misuse, negligence, accident, faulty
installation, placement and operation, improper maintenan-
ce, unauthorized repair, exposure to unreasonable tempe-
ratures or conditions;
• in case of incorrect installation or loss of accessories;
• in the event of tampering with the device’s technology or use
of wear parts, consumables or spare parts which are not ori-
ginal or have not been declared suitable by this manual;
• if changes, extensions or repairs are made by unauthorised
people;
• if this operating manual is not complied with when using
the device;
• if stamps, lead seals or corresponding securing fasteners
have been loosened, removed or separated;
• damage resulting from inadequate packaging or carrier
mishandling of returned products.
The start of the warranty period is based on the official delivery
date of the i-like Metaphysik company and the associated de-
livery to the purchaser. The official delivery note or the official
invoice issued by the i-like Metaphysik company is required in
order to assert the warranty.
