GAME PROGRAMMING
OPTION #4
CONSECUTIVE CREDITS FOR FREE
GAME
This option is used to give CREDIT DISCOUNTING.
In other words, you can set the game up to give out
a free game for extra money inserted.
For example you can set up the game for 50 cents
per play / 3 for $1.00. This is accomplished as fol-
lows: Set the option for a value of 2. This means that
each time 2 credits are inserted WITHOUT ANY
GAME BEING PLAYED, a 3rd game will be given for
free.
The range for this option is 0-5. The default value for
this option is "0" (Off).
OPTION #5
LENGTH OF GAME TIME
This option determines how long the time of the
game is where the player may DIRECT the crane.
After this time is expired, the crane will drop on its
own wherever it is and complete the game. The
range for this option is 3-24.
These numbers are to be multiplied by 10 to give
you the amount of seconds in game time.
Example: Setting a "6" would give you a game time
of 60 seconds. The default value for this option is "6"
OPTION #6
ATTRACT MODE TYPE
This option determines what type of attract mode
you will be used.
Setting a "0" turns this option OFF.
Setting a "1" gives game sounds only.
Setting a "2" gives crane motion only.
Setting a "3" gives both sound AND motion
The default value for this option is "3"
OPTION #7
ATTRACT MODE INTERVAL
This option determines how many minutes pass BE-
TWEEN the display of the attract mode. The range
for this option is 1-30. The default value for this op-
tion is "3" (3 minutes)
OPTION #8
MAXIMUM CANDY BEFORE LOSING
NOTE: THIS OPTION WILL SHOW YOU HOW TO
SET UP AND PERCENTAGE YOUR GAME PROP-
ERLY.
This option will help you to figure your payout based
on game cost and cost of goods.
EXAMPLE: Let's assume you want to charge 50
cents per game and you have an AVERAGE candy
cost of 2 cents.
Let's also assume you want to payout an average of
33 percent.
First, 33 percent of 50 cents equals 16.5 cents.
Since the candy is worth 2 cents, you, would want to
pay out an average of about 8 average pieces of
candy per game.
Since the most accurate payout is based on average
candy weight, try to add a representative amount
and type of candy when following the step by step
directions below.
NOTE: SINCE THE SCALE USED IN THIS GAME
IS VERY SENSITIVE AND SINCE YOUR CANDY
MIX MIGHT CHANGE FROM BAG TO BAG, IT IS
RECOMMENDED THAT YOU RESET THIS
OPTION EACH TIME THE CANDY MIX CHANGES
SINCE THE SETTINGS YOU ARE USING ASSUME
A MAXIMUM PAYOUT EACH TIME, YOUR
ACTUAL PAYOUT WILL BE SLIGHTLY LOWER
SINCE SOME CUSTOMERS WILL LOSE.
